The German School Association works with the following schools:
- St Christopher’s International Primary School Penang (SCIPS)
- Uplands International School Penang (UPLANDS)
Children of all ages are taught, from pre-school to 13th grade.
The lessons take place in small groups with a maximum of 12 students in the afternoon after the regular lessons at the respective school.
It is taught according to the Thuringian curriculum.
Workbooks and notebooks are also used for the lessons.
Class duration
SCIPS: Reception – Year 1: 2 school hours once a week (1 x 90 minutes)
SCIPS: Year 2 – Year 8: 2 lessons with 2 school hours twice a week (2 x 90 minutes)
UPLADNS: Reception – Year 6: 2 lessons with 1 time hour twice a week (2 x 60 minutes)
UPLADNS: Year 7 – Year 13: 2 lessons with 2 school hours twice a week (2 x 90 minutes)
